"I enjoy my yoga classes with Lora because, at my age (64), I didn't realize the stretches and
positions were possible for me to do. I have osteoarthritis and other issues, and almost every bone in my body aches. With yoga, I feel like I am accomplishing
something good for myself and my body. Each week seems like my body is a little more flexible." — Anne Marie Cardillo Johnston, RI

"Lora is always concerned for our individual physical limitations and abilities. She shows us how
to modify postures and stretches that will most benefit us as individuals; providing instruction using props as needed within the classroom atmosphere. As she
says, 'This is your yoga.' One of the things we enjoy most about our yoga practice is Lora's way of teaching. She is very patient and tolerant and just has a
wonderful way about her." — Gina & Todd Foster, RI

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS YogaWithLora (Beginner) -
This semi-private foundational class offers the beginning yoga student an uplifting, yet challenging environment in which to learn the basics of the classic yoga
postures/asanas, breathing techniques/pranayamas and centering meditations, that make up a well rounded yoga practice. Much individual attention is given to each student, so that they feel
confident in their own body's progress. This class is appropriate for the individual who has little to no experience with Yoga, or the
student who is looking to brush up on their techniques. Students are welcomed to remain in this class for as long as they wish, but they are encouraged to move toward a mixed level practice when
ready. Yoga for Everybody (Mixed Level)
Everybody classes are for everyone, including beginners. The
teaching style is adapted for those in attendance. When beginners are present the detail of instruction is more pronounced, allowing new students to easily follow the class. Typically, this is a
moderately paced class which emphasizes focused breathing and a mindful awareness of your body. This emphasis makes this class a joyful, meditative exploration of yourself in the present moment.
Students find this class relaxing and revitalizing. Vinyasa Yoga - Hot Room Yoga in the Vinyasa Style
Emphasizes a continuous flow of movement using sun salutations, dynamic breathing and long holdings. Each part of the body (inside and out) is explored and worked in a deep and mindful way. This
practice builds strength, tones and detoxifies. Vinyasa is a fun and creative practice requiring focus and dedication. This class moves
at a quick pace; therefore, some Yoga experience is helpful prior to starting this class. This type of Hot Room Yoga is physically challenging and athletic. A moderate level of fitness is
recommended. If you have specific health issues or injuries, you should consult your physician and the teacher before engaging in these classes.
Everybody, Rise and Shine! Early Morning Yoga Begin your day by spending 60 minutes toning your body, increasing your flexibility and releasing your stress! This one hour
class is appropriate for raw beginners to more advanced students of Yoga, and is the perfect way to "work in" your yoga practice for
the day. Thursday class will focus on standing poses and alignment instruction, while the Tuesday class will incorporate the poses into a flowing sequence. You can attend one or the other, but we
recommend taking both for a more well rounded experience. WORKSHOP DESCRIPTIONS
